The Whole of You
Come into intimate relationship with yourself and expand your capacity for peace, aliveness, and pleasure — with a guide who learns your nervous system by heart.
Your body has been waiting for this kind of attention.
Recognition
Does this sound like you?
You’ve done the work. Years of it. Therapy, healing. Maybe you’ve even tried breathwork somewhere. And things have shifted. But there is something specific in your body — in your chest, your hips, the way your jaw clenches when someone needs too much of you — that you have not been able to release.
There is something in you that aches to go there. Into the grief that rises at 2am before you can stop it. Into the rage that lives in your chest and never gets all the way out. Into the pleasure your body was built for that keeps feeling like it belongs to someone else. Into the place in your body that has been bracing so long it has forgotten what open feels like. But you know you need a guide you can trust.
You want a session that is focused on you and your needs — not a zoom room with twenty others. You want a guide who notices when your breath gets shallow and checks in. Someone whose entire focus for the hour you share is your body, your nervous system, what’s rising in you right now.
Maybe you’ve tried breathwork with other practitioners before and walked away feeling more fractured than when you arrived — floaty, gone, like you left yourself instead of finding yourself. You’ve been wondering what it would feel like to do this work with a guide who could actually stay with you every step of the way.
You’re drawn to breathwork — or you’ve been in group sessions and felt something real begin to open there. You know there’s more. You need the space to be entirely, completely yours and wholly safe before your body will agree to go further.
You’re not looking for a single release. You want to build something real — a relationship with your own body that deepens over time — with someone who learns the specific language of your nervous system and gets more skilled at reaching you with every session.
You’re ready to stop visiting your body and start living in it.
Not as a guest who arrives, looks around, and leaves before anything real can form. But the way you know a place you’ve lived in long enough — where the light hits in the morning, where the weight settles at night, what the walls feel like in the dark. You want to know your body that way. You want to belong there.
The Work
Your breath has been with you every moment of your life
But very few of us have been taught exactly how powerful it can be.
Your breath is the one thing in your body you can change — right now, immediately — and feel your entire nervous system respond. When your breath changes, the state of your nervous system changes. Your body changes. You change.
Most healing asks you to think and process your way through. But you can’t always release what the body is still holding in therapy, even when you really want to. Because what the body holds lives in your tissues — the tightness in your jaw, the shallowness that settled in your chest years ago and stayed. It lives in your breath.
Somatic breathwork works from inside the body outward — the same direction healing actually moves.

The body doesn’t lie to you. It just speaks a language that talk therapy was never designed to hear.
— Somatic Breathwork Principle
One-on-One
What becomes possible when the session is focused only on you
Every nervous system has its own language. Its own way of holding, its own gates, its own particular way of opening when it finally feels safe enough.
In a private session, I learn yours. When your breath shallows, I notice — and ask: what just happened right there? When something rises in your body, we follow it together. When you’re close to something important, I can sense it and slow down.
We move at the pace your nervous system can actually integrate — touching the edge, returning to safety, touching the edge again.
That knowledge builds so that each session becomes more precise, more able to reach and follow what the last session opened. Session by session, what was previously unreachable becomes reachable.
About
About this work — and about me
I’m Jean-Marie Pfeifer, and I’m living proof that you can come into real relationship with your own body — expand your capacity for peace, aliveness, and pleasure — even when you’ve spent years not knowing it was possible.
I know what overextended feels like from the inside. I’ve run multiple businesses, raised my family as a single mother, kept my body in perpetual motion because stopping felt like too much to face.
After years of searching — through recovery, through therapy, through every tool I could find — I discovered what nobody had told me existed: that healing could happen in the body, and that the breath itself was the doorway.
“What’s it like to be you today?”
The first question I ask at the start of every session. Because your body already knows what it needs, and this question gives it permission to say so.
The Process
What happens
01 · Arrive — Before We Meet
Before we meet, I want to know you. What you’re carrying right now. What your history with breathwork has been — the good and the not-so-good. What your relationship with your own body feels like today. You’ll share that with me via an easy-to-complete form before our session. I read every word, and I arrive already knowing the terrain.
End resultI already know where to begin. The session starts exactly where you are.

02 · Open — Land Together
We take about ten minutes just to land together — to feel what’s actually present in your body before we ask it to do anything. You’ll set an intention: one or two simple words that name why you’re here right now. Before a single active breath is taken, your nervous system is already beginning to settle. This is co-regulation — one nervous system calming in the presence of another that is steady.
End resultYour body gets the message it’s safe to soften here.

03 · Move — The Breath Begins
The breath begins. From here, your body leads. I track what’s arising throughout — where the tingling is, where the tightness lives, where something is asking for attention. When your breath shallows, I follow it there. With your permission, I bring energy work into the session — directed presence and intention focused exactly where your body needs it. You can bring something specific: grief, rage, pleasure, a place in your body you’ve been trying to reach.
End resultSomething that has been in the same spot for years becomes reachable. The body begins to complete what it never got to finish.
04 · Rest — Complete Stillness
After the active breathwork process we take ten minutes of complete stillness. There is nothing to do, nowhere to go — just your body, held, finally able to land. Integration happens here — not through effort but through allowing, with insights that arrive without force and the feeling of coming all the way home.
End resultYou leave lighter. Something lifted and let go. You can feel the difference in your body.

05 · Return — Close Together
We close the session together. You’re invited to share what moved, what’s still present, what you’re taking with you. The next day, I always reach out to check in — because what opens in a session doesn’t always finish there, and you deserve support as things settle.
End resultYou’re not alone in what came up.

Frequently asked
Do I need to have tried breathwork before?
No. Some women arrive having never tried it. The intake tells me where you’re starting from, and we begin exactly there. If you’re new, I walk you through everything before a single active breath is taken.
How is this different from a group session?
In a group session, the container is built for everyone in the room. Here, the session follows you specifically. We can have live conversations during the breath. I track what’s coming up in your body in real time. Every adjustment I make is for your nervous system, at this moment.
What if breathwork has felt wrong for me before — floaty, disconnected?
Tell me in your intake. That experience is real and it matters. It usually means the approach didn’t account for your nervous system’s particular patterns. Somatic breathwork is specifically designed to bring you all the way in — and to keep you there.
Can I come in with something specific I want to work with?
Yes. Grief, rage, pleasure, numbness, a place in your body that has been holding — bring it. That is exactly what this is for.
What is energy work?
Energy work is directed presence and intention focused toward specific areas of your body — amplifying what the breath is already opening, helping what’s held there to move. It requires no touch. I’ll always ask permission before bringing it in.
How many sessions do I need?
One session will move something real. Three sessions is where consistent shifts in daily life begin to emerge. Seven sessions is where the nervous system has genuinely rewired — where the version of you that was previously unreachable becomes the one you live in. Your body will tell us what it needs.
What does the next-day check-in look like?
A real message from me — not a form, just me — to see how things are settling. Sometimes the most important things surface in the hours after a session, and you deserve support as they do.
You have done everything right. Therapy. Reading. Meditation. Yoga. The years of mornings when it would have been easier to keep moving and numbing — and you showed up for the hard work of healing anyway.
And there is still something specific in your body that hasn’t gotten the message of safety yet. Right there, in the same place it has been for so long.
Your body is asking for something different. Your body is asking to take the lead. Your body is asking for this.
I see you. I’ve been where you are. I understand where you want to go. Let’s travel together.
